Poinsettia Chain Table Runner

This is a special Christmas version of the Fill in the Blanks Table Runner. The red and green chains go back and forth around the appliquéd poinsettias.

The Fill in the Blanks patterns are designed to be customized with embroidery, applique or special quilting designs.

This simple poinsettia was appliqued with fusible web and embellished with blanket stitch by hand. That combination will stand up to the wear and tear of an item used and laundered regularly.

The runner is 18″ x 42″.

It is quilted with an all-over loopy design. It vaguely reminds me of Christmas lights.

I enjoy getting it out to use at Christmas time.
