Eyes on Your Fries Quilt Block
The theme for April Quilt Block Mania is “Beach”. There are a few different traditional blocks that could match this theme, but I decided to go with the Birds in Air block.
Birds are a common sight at the beach, and when they are around, you’d better keep your eyes on your fries (or anything else you’re eating).
“Eyes on your Fries” is made with small birds in air units and embellished with running stitch embroidery.

This block uses foundation paper piecing and embroidery. It can be used in a quilting project by itself, or with my other embroidered quilt blocks.
This block is available in my shop.
Be sure to check out all my other embroidered quilt blocks in my 2024 Block of the Month.

Eyes on your Fries

I don’t see the form, but would like the pattern. It is one of the few that I have liked from this month’s offer.
Thanks.
I still haven’t received the pattern
I don’t see the form. Could you please send the block.
Thanks
Love the story behind the block!
I still haven’t received the pattern. Your patterns seem to have
difficulty getting to the person who requests them each time you
offer a pattern. Do you know why this continues to happen?
Thanks
Hi Elizabeth
Your comments brought back memories for me too at Port Elgin Beach with my children. We used to “ hide the fries” game by hiding them under a blanket & weighing the blanket down with a beach bag so those stealing gulls couldn’t get them😄

Hi Elizabeth,
I use Foxfire, but would like the April block pattern.
