Get ready for Christmas with this adorable embroidered stocking. It is easy to personalize with the fun cross stitched alphabet so everyone will want their own.
The cuff of the stocking is made with hardanger embroidery – a type of counted thread work.

If you haven’t tried hardanger, check out this series of tutorials.
This is a small project, so it’s a great for learning a new technique. It can be finished quickly without a large time commitment.
The piece is finished with a scrap of fabric and stuffing.
Colours can easily be customized to match whatever decorating scheme you are using.

You won’t be able to make just one!
The ornament will be treasured for years to come.
The pattern is available in my shop or at Etsy.
