Dressed for the Occasion Quilt Block
The theme for January Quilt Block Mania is “Party”, so I thought of all the big events we have parties for – New Years Eve, weddings and birthdays.
The right clothing is always important for a party, so my block for a party is called “Dressed for the Occasion”.
This is a variation of a simple bow tie quilt block with added embroidery that reminds me of fire works.

This block uses piecing, applique and embroidery. It can be used in a quilting project by itself, or with my other embroidered quilt blocks.
You can get this block pattern in my shop.
Be sure to check out all my other embroidered quilt blocks in my 2024 Block of the Month.
