These ideas will get you started designing your own quilt with corner blocks. For more inspiration, check out the Corner Block Inspiration Workbook.
Layout one – Just the block
Corner blocks alone can make an interesting quilt. Play with different colour combinations for different effects.

Layout two – Basic Block Variable
Changing the orientation of some of the blocks adds a lot on interest.
In this sample, alternate blocks are rotated 180*. This gives the effect of steps.

Layout three – With alternate blocks
Adding plain alternate blocks makes an interesting quilt, and it is a quick and easy way to make your quilt larger.

Layout four – Variable with Alternates
Changing the orientation of blocks and adding alternate plain blocks gives many unusual options.

Layout five – On point
Turning blocks on point always makes an interesting quilt.

Layout six – On point with alternates
Adding alternate blocks to the on-point design can make the rows stand out.

There are many more ways to use the corner block, but this will get your ideas flowing.
