Yes, M’Lady Quilt Block
“Yes, M’Lady” is a pattern for a fan quilt block embellished with hand embroidery.
The theme for August Quilt Block Mania is “Accessories”. The traditional fan quilt block seems to fit that theme perfectly.
Fan blocks were originally made with templates and then specialty rulers, but I didn’t want to require any special tools for making this block. So this is an easy fan block inspired by the traditional block.
It doesn’t require any tools other than what you already have in your sewing room.
A simple embroidery embellishment is included in the pattern, but you can easily customize it with your own stitching ideas.
This block is available in my shop, along with all the other embellished quilt blocks.
