The theme for March Quilt Block Mania is “Drinks”. When it comes to traditional quilt blocks, the drunkard’s path is the most obvious block to match this theme.

When Sherry from Powered by Quilting asked me to make a quilt using her signature line of Island Batik fabric, I was excited to do so.

The Drunkard’s Path quilt block is an old traditional block. It gets its name from the curved pieces that look like someone trying to walk in a straight line but they can’t quite manage it.
