What are "nested" seams?

Details

Nested seams come from pressing the seams on your pieces in opposite directions. Then when you join those two pieces, it is easy to match the seams because they butt up against each other.

Commonly seams are pressed to the dark side, but not always. Learn about Thoughtful Pressing here.
