This week in the studio, I did another sample for my Improv Pojagi workshop. This class takes four batik fat quarters and makes a one of a kind window hanging. It’s always interesting to see how the different colours work out.
I got a start on my second sock. This yarn is so soft that the socks will feel wonderful.
I taught a class on card embroidery. Some people didn’t make it because we had a big snowfall on the night of the class, but those who came had a great time.
My students did a great job!
My loom is still humming away with more scarves. It is so interesting to see how yarns play together. This warp is yellow with red and blue accents and the weft is white with red and blue accents. The result is a stripe with just a hint of a plaid. The bright yellow is not really noticeable.
I’m building up my collection of scarves, so guess what everyone is getting for Christmas this year.
Have a great week!
