Learn To Sew

Summer 2018

Kids Learn to Sew is a one week class for kids to learn sewing basics.  In this class, all students begin by making a pillowcase in fun colours to learn how to operate the sewing machine.  After this, they can choose their own project.  Most students will be able to complete two or three extra projects depending on difficulty.  Project details are found below.

Elizabeth is a Martha Pullen licensed sewing educator with over 25 years of experience working with children.  The classes are taught in her home studio.  Each session will have a minimum of two students and a maximum of four.blank

Cost – $125 / session

The cost includes use of all equipment (sewing machine, scissors, pins, needles, etc.).  Materials for project one – the pillowcase – are included.  Subsequent projects will require the purchase of fabric or a kit fee.  Details about the projects can be found below.
