Island Batik February 2021 Challenge

The Island Batik Ambassador challenge for February 2021 is called “Create for a Cause”. For this, we got to create a quilt for our local charity with the new fabric collections. These new collections make any quilt pattern look beautiful.

Be sure to check out the Island Batik blog to see all the fabric collections and for a chance to win fabric. It is fun to see how the same fabric collection can look totally different.

Click on the pictures for more information about the quilts, the makers and the great causes they are supporting.

This quilt uses the beautiful Autumn Sunset Collection.

The simple design showcases the beautiful fabric colours.

These quilts use the Blinded by Science collection.

It is interesting to see how different the two quilts look even though they use the same collection. The background fabric changes everything.
